You know that scene in rom-coms when Person A discovers Person B started dating them because of whatever McGuffin reason and one of the two storms out before they can have a conversation? I want to see that conversation happen, preferably while the two have a sword fight or something. I'm imagining the king/queen being mad at both him/herself for letting the spy so close, and at the spy for, you know, tricking him/her, while the spy desperately tries to convey how much they love the king/queen. And if a love confession leads to sex, who am I to argue?

Wounded Werewolf/Apprentice Witch who begrudgingly rescues them

Exams are very stressing for everyone, aren't they? Even more so if you’re a witch, I'd imagine. So it can't be nice to find yourself patching up a werewolf the night before you have to go before the head of the Coven or whatever to prove your worth. The gender of both characters is up to you. Also: do they know other? Do they maybe even dislike each other? Is the witch an evil witch or a good one? Is the werewolf as reluctant as the witch?

Athelstan/King Ecbert/Ragnar Lothbrok

We see from the very beginning that King Ecbert and Ragnar recognize each other as great men. And we know they both see Athelstan as this holy man that sees and hears things they can never hope to even begin to comprehend, and that they love him for it. Athelstan, in return, found a home (and even a friend) in both of them, discovering himself in the process. I could easily see a relationship where King Ecbert and Ragnar playfully compete for Athelstan’s affection, but let's not forget the pool scene between those first two (oh, boy!). I would love to see Athelstan taking control of the situation, both in and out of bed, maybe by having King Ecbert and Ragnar “perform” for him as he watches or something like that. If you don't feel like writing something set in the canon universe, I would love any kind of AU, especially a modern one.
